DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang says Home Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi should not have invoked the Official Secrets Act 1972 to hide the nature of the projects in which alleged gambling kingpin Paul Phua had aided the federal government. – The Malaysian Insider pic by Mukhriz Hazim, January 18, 2015.The Cabinet should declassify the so-called “national security projects" on which alleged gambling kingpin Paul Phua had aided the federal government, DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang said today.Lim said Home Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who is now in the spotlight over the letter he sent to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), should not have invoked the Official Secrets Act 1972 to hide the nature of the projects Phua was involved with.“Cabinet on Wednesday should uphold the principles of good governance and accountability and declassify information on the 'national security projects’ involving (the) alleged gambling kingpin," said Lim in a statement.He said that the Cabinet should also confirm the existence and number of past national security projects, and why the police “knew nothing about them".He added that the Cabinet should reveal whether these projects began during Zahid’s 19-month tenure as home minister from May 2013, or with his predecessor, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein.The letter to the FBI was first revealed by the South China Morning Post almost a month ago, leading to criticism by several quarters for acting unilaterally and not going through the Foreign Affairs Ministry in dealing with a foreign agency like the FBI.Last Thursday, Zahid broke his silence on the issue, insisting that he had the authority to write such a letter.The home minister said the letter was not meant to defend Phua, who is facing trial in the United States, nor was it a support letter not to charge the man.Zahid said his predecessor had also previously issued such letters to explain on matters in their capacity as the minister responsible for national security."The letter was to clarify the status of Phua and the existence of the 14K Triad in Malaysia," Zahid had reportedly said.Zahid had said that he had explained the matter to the Cabinet and his colleagues were satisfied with his explanation.As for claims in the letter that Phua had helped the Malaysian government with "national security projects", Zahid had said these projects could not be revealed as they were classified under the OSA.It was reported that the Malaysian police in a 2008 report to the FBI had said that Phua was a member of the 14K Triad.The 50-year-old Sarawakian was said to be a professional gambler and had taken part in world poker championships.He was arrested in Las Vegas, Nevada, during the 2014 FIFA World Cup and is now reportedly facing charges of illegal bookmaking charges. He was also the ambassador for the micro-state of San Marino to Montenegro for a period. – January 18, 2015.

Mahfuz menang saman akhbar RM150K

Ketua Penerangan PAS Datuk Mahfuz Omar akan mendapat RM150,000 setelah menang saman terhadap New Straits Times Press (M) Bhd dan bekas ketua pengarang Berita Harian Datuk Ahmad Rejal Arbee.

Jumlah ganti rugi itu tidak termasuk faedah.

Ia berkaitan artikel dalam Berita Harian pada tahun 2000 berjudul "Mahfuz ajak wakil BN bertumbuk".

Panel lima anggota Mahkamah Persekutuan diketuai oleh Hakim Mahkamah Rayuan Tan Sri Md Raus Sharif hari ini menolak permohonan NSTP untuk merayu kerana tiada merit untuk membenarkannya.

Pada Mei tahun lalu, tiga anggota Mahkamah Rayuan mengekalkan keputusan Mahkamah Tinggi Kuala Lumpur pada 2009, yang memutuskan artikel itu sebagai fitnah.

Mahfuz diwakili oleh peguam Azhana ‎Mohd Khairuddin manakala NSTP pula diwakili oleh Nad Segaram.

เลือดกำเดาพุ่ง!! “คิมแจจุง" (Kim Jae Joong) อวดหุ่น แซ่บส์เว่อร์ ในซีรีย์ใหม่ “Spy"

คิมแจจุง (Kim Jae Joong) จากวง JYJ ได้ออกมาเผยให้เห็นหุ่นสุดฟิตเฟิร์ม กับฉากอาบน้ำในซีรีย์ใหม่ล่าสุดของเขาเรื่อง Spy ซึ่งจากที่เห็นก็คงไม่ต้องบอกว่าเฟิร์มแค่ไหน และน้ำลายสาวเล็กใหญ่แท้เทียมก็คงต้องหกไปตามๆกันอย่างแน่นอน

จากในซีรีย์เรื่องนี้ คิมแจจุงได้มารับบทเป็นสายลับที่ชื่อ คิมซอนอู ที่มามีแม่เป็นอดีตสายลับจากเกาหลีเหนือ พัคแฮริม (แพจงอก) และมีแฟนที่ชื่อ อียุนจิน (โคซองฮี)

สำหรับฉากอาบน้ำดังกล่าวนั้น ได้มีการถ่ายทำกันไปเมื่อวันที่ 13 มกราคมที่ผ่านมา ที่สตูดิโอของ KBS ที่ซูวอน โดยก่อนเข้าฉากนั้น คิมแจจุงก็รู้สึกเสียดายอยู่ไม่น้อย ที่ไม่ได้มีการปั๊มหุ่นกันก่อนไปเข้าฉาก เพราะว่าติดตารางงานที่ค่อนข้างยุ่ง (โดยปกติแล้ว เวลาที่คนเรามีการเล่นกล้ามกันนั้น มัดกล้ามจะมีการพองตัวขึ้นมาอย่างเห็นได้ชัด หรือเรียกว่าเป็นการปั๊มนั่นเอง)

แต่อย่างไรก็ตาม เมื่อถึงคราวที่เขาต้องถอดเสื้อเพื่อมาเข้าฉาก ก็ไม่ทำให้ทีมงานผิดหวัง ทั้งเหล่าทีมงานชายหญิงต่างก็ทึ่งไปกับหุ่นที่ดูดีของเขา คิมแจจุงนั้นใช้เวลาในการถ่ายทำฉากดังกล่าวได้รวดเร็วมาก ทำให้ทางด้านโปรดิวเซอร์ พัคฮยอนซอกกล่าวติดตลกไปว่า พวกเขาควรจะถ่ายกันอีกครั้งเพื่อเป็นของขวัญให้กับทีมงานและผู้ชม

ทางด้านนักเขียนเองก็ยังได้กล่าวเผยอีกด้วยว่า “ซอนอูนั้นกำลังเข้ามามีปัญหามากขึ้นเรื่อยๆ และเรื่องราวต่างๆก็กำลังตื่นเต้นเข้มข้น คิมแจจุงนั้นพยายามถ่ายทอดตัวละครของซอนอูออกมาได้อย่างสมบูรณ์แบบ เขามักจะมีบทอยู่ในมืออยู่เสมอและทำงานอย่างหนักมาก"

Andreas Hananto said his team of 10 investigators at the National Transportation Safety Committee (NTSC) had found "no threats" in the cockpit voice recordings to indicate foul play during AirAsia flight QZ8501.The Airbus A320-200 vanished from radar screens on December 28, less than halfway into a two-hour flight from Indonesia's second-biggest city of Surabaya to Singapore.There were no survivors.When asked if there was any evidence from the recording that terrorism was involved, Andreas said: "No. Because if there were terrorism, there would have been a threat of some kind.""In that critical situation, the recording indicates that the pilot was busy with the handling of the plane."Investigators said they had listened to the whole of the recording but transcribed only about half."We didn't hear any voice of other persons other than the pilots," said Nurcahyo Utomo, another investigator."We didn't hear any sounds of gunfire or explosions. For the time being, based on that, we can eliminate the possibility of terrorism."Explosion also 'unlikely'Nurcahyo said that investigators could hear "almost everything" on the recording from one of the flight's two "black boxes". The other is the flight data recorder, and both have been recovered from the wreckage at the bottom of the Java Sea.He declined to give details about what was said during the doomed flight's final moments, citing Indonesian law.Indonesian authorities have said that bad weather was likely to have played a part in the disaster.According to Andreas, evidence also showed that an explosion was unlikely before the plane crashed, disputing a theory suggested by an official from the National Search and Rescue Agency last week."From the (flight data recordings) so far, it's unlikely there was an explosion," Andreas said."If there was, we would definitely know because certain parameters would show it. There are something like 1,200 parameters."The final minutes of the AirAsia flight were full of "sounds of machines and sounds of warnings" that must be filtered out to get a complete transcript of what was said in the cockpit, said Andreas, who has been an air safety investigator since 2009.The first 2½-hour long cockpit voice recording has been transcribed. That includes audio from the previous flight and the beginning of flight QZ8501, which crashed around 40 minutes after takeoff.The team hopes to finish transcribing the recording this week, Andreas said.Investigators hope to finish a preliminary report on the crash early next week. กทม. เก็บม้าลาย ชุดไทย ของเซ่นไหว้ โค้ง 100 ศพรัชดา ด้าน "ริว จิตสัมผัส" ทำพิธีขอขมา ก่อนเจ้าหน้าที่ย้ายปรับภูมิทัศน์-หวั่น เกิดอุบัติเหตุ

เจ้าหน้าที่จากสำนักงานเขตจตุจักร กทม. นำรถจากฝ่ายสิ่งแวดล้อมของเขต รถยกเครื่องมือหนักและรถทำความสะอาด รวม 4 คัน พร้อมเจ้าหน้าที่จากสำนักเขตจตุจักร ทำการขนย้ายม้าลายผ้าสามสีชุดไทย และเครื่องเซ่นไหว้บนเกาะกลางถนน บริเวณโค้งร้อยศพ หน้าศาลอาญา ถนนรัชดาภิเษก ออกเพื่อปรับปรุงภูมิทัศน์ หลังจากมีประชาชนร้องเรียน กรณีขับผ่านจุดดังกล่าว และไม่ได้รับความปลอดภัยจากม้าลาย ที่ประชาชนนำมาไว้เหลื่อมล้ำออกมาพื้นผิวถนน

โดยวันนี้ได้มีพระครูใบฎีกา วิชญ์จุฑา อินุทวโส จากสำนักสงฆ์ร่มโพธิ์ธรรม จ.กาญจนบุรี เดินทางร่วมทำพิธีกรรม โดยได้มีการตั้งเครื่องเซ่นไหว้ เพื่อเป็นการบอกกล่าวและขอขมา พร้อมทำพิธีอุทิศส่วนกุศลให้วิญญาณที่เสียชีวิตบริเวณดังกล่าว

ด้าน นายปาณรวัฐ ลิ่มรัตนอาภรณ์ หรือ ริว จิตสัมผัส พิธีกรชื่อดัง ได้เดินทางมาบริเวณต้นโพธิ์ หน้าศาลอาญา พร้อมกล่าวกับสื่อมวลชนว่า ตนจะมาร่วมในพิธีการขอขมาและร่วมขนย้ายม้าลายเครื่องเซ่นที่ประชาชนนำมาวางไว้ และเป็นตัวแทนในการทำพิธีกรรมขอขมาแทนเจ้าหน้าที่ กทม. เพื่อความสบายใจ หลังจากนี้จะนำม้าลายไปไว้ยังสำนักสงฆ์ร่มโพธิ์ทอง จ.กาญจนบุรี เพื่อนำไปบด และนำไปเป็นส่วนประกอบในการสร้างพระพุทธรูป ส่วนชุดไทยจะนำไปเผาทิ้ง

นอกจากนี้ ริว ยังกล่าวอีกว่า ถึงแม้วันนี้จะมีการขนย้ายม้าลายออกจากบริเวณดังกล่าว แต่จะยังมีประชาชนที่มีความเชื่อนำของเซ่นไหว้มาวางอีก ตนจึงอยากบอกว่า อยากให้ประชาชนมีศรัทธาบนพื้นฐานของความเป็นจริง ไม่งมงาย และตนเชื่อว่าอุบัติเหตุที่เกิดขึ้นบริเวณนี้เกิดจากความประมาท และถนนรัชดาเป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยว ซึ่งอุบัติเหตุเกิดจากเมาแล้วขับ

มาสด้ามอเตอร์คอร์ปอเรชั่นประเทศญี่ปุ่น เผยโฉมเวอร์ชั่นต้นแบบของ CX-3 ใหม่ ขณะที่เวอร์ชั่นผลิตจริงจะถูกเปิดตัวช่วงปลายเดือนกุมภาพันธ์นี้ เราลองไปชมแบบเจาะลึกกันว่า Mazda CX-3 ใหม่ จะเป็นอย่างไรบ้าง

รูปลักษณ์ภายนอกของ Mazda CX-3 ถูกออกแบบในสไตล์ครอสโอเวอร์ขนาดเล็ก หน้าตาใกล้เคียงกับมาสด้ารุ่นอื่นๆที่วางจำหน่ายในปัจจุบัน ซุ้มล้อถูกตกแต่งด้วยขอบสีดำดูดุดันยิ่งขึ้น ขณะที่เสาท้ายออกแบบให้มีสีดำดูกลมกลืนไปจนถึงด้านหลัง รวมถึงช่วยให้ตัวรถดูกว้างมากขึ้นด้วย

ห้องโดยสารภายในถูกจัดวางแผงควบคุมต่างๆโดยมีผู้ขับเป็นศูนย์กลาง บริเวณคอนโซลกลางติดตั้งหน้าจอ HMI ที่ถูกพัฒนาขึ้นโดยมาสด้าเอง บังคับด้วยปุ่ม Commander บริเวณเบรกมือ รวมถึงติดตั้งหน้าจอ Heads-up Cockpit สำหรับแสดงข้อมูลการขับขี่บนแผงคอนโซล ช่วยให้ไม่ต้องละลายตาจากถนน เบาะนั่งเป็นแบบหุ้มหนังพร้อมเดินตะเข็บแบบขวางเพื่มความหรูหรา

แผงประตูด้านข้างถูกออกแบบให้ต่อเนื่องมาจากแผงคอนโซลด้านหน้า รวมถึงเดินเส้นสายพริ้วไหวเพื่อช่วยให้ดูมีมิติมากขึ้น ใช้โครเมี่ยมแบบด้านในการตกแต่งบริเวณที่เปิดประตูเพื่อความสวยงาม ชิ้นส่วนต่างๆถูกประกอบเข้ากันเป็นอย่างดี

Mazda CX-3 โดดเด่นด้วยลักษณะแบบครอสโอเวอร์ยกสูงที่มีระดับสายตาผู้ขับขี่อยู่ที่ 1,250 มม. ระยะห่างระหว่างเบาะคู่หน้าทั้งสองอยู่ที่ 690 มม. มีระยะพื้นที่ช่วงไหล่ 1,350 มม. และพื้นที่ช่วงขา 1,058 มม. นอกจากนั้น เบาะนั่งด้านหลังยังถูกปรับให้อยู่ลึกเข้าไปด้านในอีก 25 มม. และสูงขึ้นอีก 37 มม. ช่วยให้มองทัศนวิสัยด้านหน้าได้ดียิ่งขึ้น รวมถึงการขึ้น-ลงเบาะหลังก็สามารถทำได้สบายๆ

พื้นที่ห้องเก็บสัมภาระด้านท้ายมีขนาด 350 ลิตร รวมถึงเบาะหลังที่สามารถปรับราบได้ในกรณีต้องการพื้นที่บรรทุก

Mazda CX-3 ใหม่ ยังมาพร้อมระบบ i-Activesense ซึ่งเป็นระบบความปลอดภัยที่ก้าวล้ำที่สุดของมาสด้า, ระบบเชื่อมต่อ Mazda Connect ที่สามารถเข้าถึงอินเตอร์เน็ตและโซเชียลได้ เป็นต้น

Duta Korea hati-hati ulas adegan ciuman K-pop

Duta Korea ke Malaysia hari ini berhati-hati mengulas kontroversi adegan ciuman dan pelukan artis lelaki k-pop B1A4 dengan gadis bertudung di Kuala Lumpur baru-baru ini.

Apabila ditanya perkara itu, Cho Byungjae menjawab: “Kalau kamu tidak suka, kenapa mereka lakukannya?”

Ditanya lagi oleh Malaysiakini sama ada kedutaan akan melarang aktiviti itu di masa depan, Cho cuma ketawa.

Tambahnya, kedutaan itu sentiasa menasihati artisnya supaya lebih sensitif dan berhati-hati apabila berada di Malaysia.

“Itu yang selalu kami tekankan, untuk sesiapa pun yang keluar,” katanya.

Atasan polis harus tanggungjawab, kata MP

Pihak atasan polis harus bertanggungjawab terhadap tindakan orang bawahan mereka, kata anggota parlimen Puchong Gobind Singh.

Justeru, katanya, undang-undang harus digubal bagi memastikan pegawai yang berkuasa di balai polis dan pegawai penyiasat dipersalahkan untuk kes melibatkan kecederaan dan kematian dalam tahanan.

Minggu lepas, mahkamah koronor bawah Hakim Mahkamah Sesyen Ahmad Bache mendapati polis bertindak secara “tidak sah, cuai dan tidak berperikemanusiaan” dengan tidak memberi ubat dan perhatian perubatan kepada P Chandran semasa berada ditahanan.

Tindakan itu kemudian menyebabkan kematian.

“Ini perkara berat, yang kedua-dua pihak, ketua polis negara dan Kementerian Dalam Negeri patut berapa malu,” kata Gobind yang juga seorang pengamal undang-undang.
