The noise of several alarms – including one that indicated the plane was stalling – can be heard going off in recordings from the black box in the Airbus A320's cockpit, the investigator told AFP, requesting anonymity."The warning alarms, we can say, were screaming, while in the background they (the pilot and co-pilot) were busy trying to recover," the investigator said, adding the warnings were going off "for some time".The investigator, from Indonesia's National Transportation Safety Committee (NTSC), added that the pilots' voices were drowned out by the sound of the alarms.The revelation came a day after Indonesian Transport Minister Ignasius Jonan said that the plane had climbed abnormally fast before stalling and plunging into the sea, during a flight on December 28 in stormy weather from Indonesia's Surabaya to Singapore."In the final minutes, the plane climbed at a speed which was beyond normal," the minister told reporters.The plane crashed in shallow waters with 162 people on board, but so far just 53 bodies have been recovered.Divers have been struggling for a week against rough seas and strong currents to reach the plane's main fuselage, which was spotted on the seabed and is thought to contain the bulk of the remaining passengers and crew.The two black boxes – the cockpit voice recorder and the flight data recorder – were recovered last week after a lengthy search, and investigators are expected to complete a preliminary report next week.As well as the cockpit voice recorder, the NTSC is examining a wealth of information in the flight data recorder, which monitors every major part of the plane.They are focusing on the possibility of human or aircraft error, after ruling out terrorism following an analysis of the cockpit voice recorder.Committee head Tatang Kurniadi said that the preliminary report into the crash would be completed on Tuesday, a month after the accident. He said the full report would not be released publicly but the media would be told some of its contents.There was a huge international hunt for the crashed plane, involving ships from several countries including the United States and China.All but seven of those on board the flight were Indonesian. Catholic weekly Herald editor Rev Father Lawrence Andrew says today the 'Allah’ case touches on the right to profess one's faith. – The Malaysian Insider pic by Nazir Sufari, January 21, 2015.With no more legal avenues to pursue for the right to use the word "Allah" in Catholic weekly, Herald, its editor Rev Father Lawrence Andrew today expressed disappointment at the Federal Court's dismissal of the appeal, while lawyers, however, said it did not mean the issue of non-Muslims' right to use the word was settled.Rev Andrew said it was an important constitutional case on the right to profess one's faith and said he hoped that the rights of minorities, including the poor and the underprivileged, would not be trampled upon.The Catholic Church today lost its final bid to review the Federal Court's earlier decision upholding the Court of Appeal's ruling to ban the Herald from using the Arabic word for "God" in its Bahasa Malaysia content.When asked about the opposing argument by the lawyer of a Muslim religious group today that allowing the review would "open up old wounds and cause public unrest", Rev Andrew said, he did not understand how trouble could arise as "Allah" had been used for so long by Bahasa Malaysia-speaking Christians."Malay has been the language in the church in Malaya for centuries and I have shown evidence than BM was already a language of worship for hundreds of years in devotional booklets."And during this period, there was no trouble whatsoever, so I don't see an possibility of evoking trouble,‎" the priest said.Despite appearing to be at the end of the road, the church's lead counsel Datuk Dr Cyrus Das said the issue was not necessarily over.It could be raised through other cases, Das said, adding that matter of constitutional rights of minorities could still be taken up.The merits of the church's case in the dispute over using "Allah" needed to be raised in the courts in other cases on the same topic, especially on the home minister's powers to ban words and the scope of prohibitions."There are other constitutional issue‎ that have not been addressed, and this can be taken up in other cases," said Das outside the courtroom at Putrajaya's Palace of Justice.MCA politician Gan Peng Sieu, who is also a lawyer and was holding a watching brief on the case for the party, described the Federal Court's decision today as a great injustice.He ‎said it was unfortunate that the status quo on the “Allah" issue remained following the dismissal.

"The Federal Court is skirting away from answering constitutional issues which are left hanging."The people were expecting the Federal Court to do more as this is beyond politics, the duty of the Federal Court is to preserve and defend the Federal Constitution and the current state of the 'Allah' issue will not do any good for the country," said Gan, whose party, MCA, is a component member of the ruling Barisan Nasional government.Gan also said that laymen and religious groups would infer that the matter had ended with today's decision, when that was not the case.‎Datuk Zainul Rijal Abu Bakar (pic), president of the Muslim Lawyers Association appeared to agree, saying that the decision was only confined to the Herald.It simply meant that the church could not use the word "Allah" in the publication. "Muslims are unhappy because the word 'Allah’ was used to refer to a non-Muslim God."But is not a blanket ruling that non-Muslims cannot use the word," he added.‎‎The church had submitted 28 questions of law at the leave stage on administrative and constitutional law, as well as questions of general principles. That, however, was rejected by a Federal Court panel chaired by Chief Justice Tun Arifin Zakaria in June last year in a 4-3 majority ruling.Today, the five-man bench headed by Tan Sri Abdull Hamid Embong took an hour to return a unanimous verdict in the negative to the church's final attempt to revive its appeal.The panel today held that procedural unfairness did not arise in the earlier bench led by the country's top judge and that the church did not meet the threshold for review under Rule 137 of the Rules of the Federal Court. – January 21, 2015.

Flood in Sarawak worsens – Bernama

Flood in Sarawak worsened this morning with the total number of flood victims evacuated to relief centres rising to 3,201 from 736 families compared to 153 families last night.Meanwhile in Kelantan and Perak the number remained the same as recorded last night at 354 and 80 respectively.In Sarawak continuous rain since the last few days worsened the flood situation in several areas in the state, especially in Kuching, Samarahan, Mukah and Limbang divisions.Sarawak State Security Council (MKN) assistant secretary Salihin Annuar said at present 29 relief centres were opened with Kuching accomodating 2,306 flood victims, Limbang (442), Samarahan (276) and Mukah (186).Six of the relief centres are schools while the rest are communuty halls, churches and others.Salihin said all rescue operations had run smoothly, including evacuation, aid distribution and registration by the Social Welfare Department with no loss of lives due to the floods reported so far.The number of victims is expected to rise following continuous rain as well as king tides and the ongoing evacuation process, he said.In Kelantan, a state MKN sposkesman said all 354 individuals from 74 families who lost their houses were still being placed at nine relief centres in Kuala Krai.All victims are housed at school halls, kindergartens, factories and mosques.In Perak, a MKN spokesman said up to date two relief centres were still opened with Perak Tengah accomodating 46 flood victims from 11 families and 34 individuals from 10 families in Hulu Perak. – Bernama, January 19, 2015.

Kerajaan akan terus merayu kepada kerajaan Arab Saudi untuk menambah kuota jemaah haji bagi rakyat negara ini sebanyak 10,000 pada tahun ini.

Menteri Di Jabatan Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Jamil Khir Baharom berkata sejak projek pembesaran Masjidil Haram dilaksanakan, kuota jemaah haji Malaysia telah dikurangkan sebanyak 20 peratus daripada kuota jemaah haji yang sebenar setiap tahun.

"Kerajaan akan terus merayu dengan kerajaan Arab Saudi untuk memberikan kuota (jemaah haji) tambahan," katanya kepada pemberita selepas merasmikan Muzakarah Haji Peringkat Kebangsaan Ke-31 di Alor Setar, malam tadi.

Kuota haji Malaysia tahun lepas ialah sebanyak 22,320 orang.

Katanya, kerajaan dan Tabung Haji (TH) mempunyai pelbagai saluran untuk menyampaikan rayuan menambah kuota haji kepada kerajaan Arab Saudi termasuk dalam mesyuarat haji yang bakal diadakan Mac depan serta menerusi pasukan TH yang berada di Makkah dan Madinah sepanjang tahun.

Beliau berkata, ketika ini terdapat 1.6 juta rakyat Malaysia yang telah mendaftar dengan TH untuk menunaikan ibadah haji dan tempoh menunggu adalah terlalu lama.

"Tempoh menunggu itu boleh mencecah 67 tahun," katanya menambah kerajaan Indonesia juga merayu kepada Arab Saudi berikutan tempoh menunggu jemaah haji negara itu juga lama.

Pada majlis sama, beliau turut melancarkan sistem Kad Tauliah Mengajar Haji bagi memastikan hanya pembimbing haji bertauliah dan diiktiraf TH serta penyampai yang berkualiti boleh memberikan ceramah haji dan umrah.

Ia akan memudahkan kawalan dan penyelarasan hukum-hakam supaya tidak bercanggah dengan ajaran Islam dan Resolusi Muzakarah Haji, katanya.

Menurut beliau pemegang kad tauliah berkenaan perlu memperbaharui kad setiap tahun selepas melalui beberapa proses bagi memastikan mereka mematuhi kriteria ketat yang ditetapkan TH.

'Ada kesilapan pada tuduhan Khir Toyo'

Pasukan pendakwaan mengakui terdapat kesilapan dalam pertuduhan rasuah terhadap bekas menteri besar Selangor Dr Mohd Khir Toyo.

Timbalan pendakwa raya (DPP) Mohd Masri Daud berkata pihak pendakwaan hanya menyedari perkara itu apabila masuk ke peringkat rayuan.

“Bagaimanapun, ia tidak bermaksud pasukan pembelaan ditipu atau berlakunya kesilapan mahkamah (miscarriage of justice),” kata Masri kepada Mahkamah Persekutuan sebentar tadi.

Katanya, Khir juga pengerusi Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor semasa menjadi menteri besar.

Peguam Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah sebelum ini membangkitkan bahawa anak guamnya dituduh menyalah guna kedudukan sebagai menteri besar untuk mendapatkan tanah dan harta tanah bawah harga pasaran.

Bagaimanapun, tambah peguam, perbicaraan itu merujuk kedudukan Khir sebagai pengerusi PKNS.

Shafee berkata, pihak pendakwaan tidak meminda pertuduhan sepanjang perbicaraan dan menuduhnya sebagai seorang bekas menteri besar dan mewujudkan kesan prejudis terhadap Khir untuk mendapatkan perbicaraan adil.

Ia juga didakwa menafikan hak anak guamnya untuk memanggil saksi tambahan untuk tujuan pembelaan.

“Atas perkara ini saya, anak guam saya patut dibebaskan daripada pertuduhan,” kata Shafee.

Khir sebelum ini disabitkan bersalah oleh Mahkamah Tinggi Shah Alam dan dijatuhkan hukuman 12 bulan penjara.

Mahkamah Rayuan mengekal sabitan dan hukuman itu.

Rayuan Khir hari ini didengar di Mahkamah Persekutuan di hadapan lima panel hakim diketuai oleh Ketua Hakim Malaya Tan Sri Zulkefli Ahmad Makinuddin.

โดยหญิงชาวต่างชาติคนดังกล่าวนั้นชื่อ นางฮานนา ชิคห์โครา (Hanne Schikora) สัญชาตินอร์เวย์ อายุ 76 ปี โดยก่อนหน้านี้นางฮาน่า เดินทางมาท่องเที่ยวที่ อ.ชะอำ และได้ออกไปเดินเล่น ตั้งแต่เมื่อช่วงเย็นวันที่ 20 มกราคมที่ผ่านมา จากนั้นได้หายตัวไป

กระทั่งในเวลาต่อมา เพื่อนนางฮานนา ได้รับโทรศัพท์จาก นางฮานนา ว่า ตนเข้าไปเดินเล่นในป่า แล้วอยู่ๆ ก็เกิดอาการหน้ามืดเป็นลมหมดสติไป มารู้สึกตัวอีกทีก็มืดค่ำแล้ว จึงมองไม่เห็นรอบข้างเพราะเป็นป่ารกทึบ เมื่อพยายามลุกขึ้นเพื่อหาทางออกก็ไม่สามารถลุกได้ เนื่องจากเกิดอาการบาดเจ็บที่ขาทั้ง 2 ข้าง และไม่สามารถบอกตำแหน่งได้ว่าอยู่บริเวณไหน นางฮานนา แจ้งว่าได้รับบาดเจ็บและหวาดกลัวมาก ขอให้เร่งหาทางช่วยเหลือโดยด่วน

เบื้องต้น เมื่อคืนวันที่ 20 มกราคม เจ้าหน้าที่ได้พยายามออกค้นหาแล้ว แต่ไม่พบ เนื่องจากไม่สามารถระบุพิกัดใกล้เคียงได้ กระทั่งกลางดึกจึงต้องหยุดค้นหาเนื่องจากไม่มีอุปกรณ์ส่องสว่าง

รอกระทั่งช่วงเช้า วันที่ 21 มกราคม เจ้าหน้าที่ชุดค้นหากว่า 100 คน ได้ปูพรมเดินเท้าค้นหาในพื้นป่าแต่ไม่พบร่องรอย แม้จะติดต่อทางโทรศัพท์กับ นางฮานนา ได้ แต่ก็ยังไม่สามารถระบุพิกัดชัดเจน เพราะ นางฮานนา ไม่สามารถจับทิศทางได้ถูกบอกเพียงว่าอยู่ในป่า ชุดค้นหาภาคพื้นดินได้เดินปูพรมค้นหานานกว่า 24 ชั่วโมง แต่ไม่มีวี่แววจะพบตัวผู้สูญหาย เจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจ สภ.ชะอำ จึงได้ประสานขอเฮลิคอปเตอร์จากหน่วยบินตำรวจหัวหิน 1714 สำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติ ประจำ อ.หัวหิน ร่วมค้นหาทางอากาศ เนื่องจากผู้สูญหายไม่ได้รับการช่วยเหลือนานกว่า 30 ชั่วโมงแล้ว เกรงว่าจะได้รับอันตราย ทั้งนี้ หน่วยกู้ชีพฉุกเฉิน K-9 (เค-ไนท์) จากสถานฑูตประเทศนอร์เวย์ ได้นำสุนัขดมกลิ่น และเจ้าหน้าที่กู้ภัยร่วมค้นหาเพิ่มเติม โดยมีการประสานขอพิกัดที่อยู่จากผู้สูญหายตลอดเวลา

เมื่อเวลา 18.30 น. ที่ผ่านมา เจ้าหน้าที่ป่าไม้ได้พบตัว นางฮานนา นั่งเหยียดขาอยู่ ใต้ต้นไม้ใหญ่กลางป่า เจ้าหน้าที่เร่งให้การช่วยเหลือ เบื้องต้นพบมีอาการอิดโรยและหิวโหย เนื่องจากไม่ได้ดื่มน้ำและรับประทานอาหารมานานกว่า 30 ชั่วโมง เจ้าหน้าที่จึงเร่งนำตัวนางฮานน่าไปรักษาพยาบาลตัวที่โรงพยาบาลชะอำ เบื้องต้นอาการปลอดภัยแล้ว

ทำเอาบรรดาแฟนคลับที่ลุ้นฟังข่าวดีอดเป็นห่วงไม่ได้ สำหรับนางเอกสาวหน้าหวาน "แพนเค้ก เขมนิจ จามิกรณ์" หลังถูกหมอดูชื่อดังทักแรงว่า ดวงของเจ้าตัวกับแฟนหนุ่ม "สารวัตรหมี พ.ต.ต.ศักดิ์สุนทร" ภายในปีนี้มีแววที่จะต้องยุติความสัมพันธ์สูงมากจนน่าตกใจ!!

โดยล่าสุดขณะที่สาวแพนเค้กเดินทางมาร่วมงานแถลงข่าว "Healthy Brain Healthy Life" เจ้าตัวได้ออกมาเผยว่า ส่วนตัวแล้วตนรู้สึกเชื่อครึ่งไม่เชื่อครึ่งกับคำทำนายดังกล่าว แต่ก็ขอรับฟ้งไว้เพื่อเป็นเครื่องเตือนสติ พร้อมกันนั้นสาวแพนเค้กก็ยังถือโอกาสเคลียร์ปิดฉากข่าวเกาเหลานางเอกร่วมช่อง "ขวัญ อุษามณี ไวทยานนท์" หลังมีภาพถ่ายของทั้งคู่ถูกโพสต์ลงในโลกโซเชียลฯ เพื่อยืนยันสถานะความเป็นเพื่อน...

ล่าสุดมีหมอดูออกมาทักอีกแล้วว่าดวงเรากับ พี่หมี มีเกณฑ์เลิกกันสูงมากในปีนี้ ?

"แพนขอเชื่อแค่ครึ่ง ๆ ดีกว่าค่ะ เพราะว่าเรื่องราวทุกอย่างมันก็ต้องขึ้นอยู่กับตัวเราเองและความสบายใจของเราทั้งคู่ด้วย อะไรก็ตามที่ถูกทักทายมาถ้าเป็นเรื่องดีแพนก็ต้องขอบคุณ แต่ถ้าอันไหนเป็นเรื่องไม่ดีแพนก็จะได้ระมัดระวังค่ะ (ยิ้ม)"

รู้แบบนี้แล้วจะกลับไปปรึกษาหรือคุยกับพี่หมีไหม ?
"เอ่อ...สำหรับพี่หมีเขาเองก็คงตอบเหมือนแพนนี่แหละค่ะ คือขอบคุณ และคงต้องดูแลเรื่องราวของเราให้มันผ่านไปได้ด้วยดี"

คิดว่าหลังจากนี้เราอาจจะต้องมีทริปทำบุญเพื่อเสริมดวงให้กับความรักหรือเปล่า ?
"จริง ๆ เราสองคนก็มีโอกาสได้ทำบุญกันอยู่เรื่อย ๆ นะคะ ซึ่งแพนเองก็มองว่าการทำบุญมันก็อาจจะเป็นอะไรที่ช่วยเสริมความรู้สึกทางด้านจิตใจความสบายใจให้กับเรามากกว่าค่ะ"

"อ๋อ...สำหรับแพนกับขวัญเราได้มีโอกาสไปเจอกันตอนเดินทางไปร่วมงานที่จังหวัดพิษณุโลกค่ะ เป็นการบังเอิญเจอที่ร้านอาหารร้านหนึ่งที่นั่น ซึ่งตัวขวัญเขากำลังจะกลับ ส่วนแพนเพิ่งไปถึงที่นั่นพอดี เลยทำให้มีโอกาสได้ถ่ายรูปร่วมกันค่ะ"

อย่างก่อนหน้านี้ก็เคยมีข่าวว่าเราสองคนเกาเหลากัน พอมีรูปออกมาแบบนี้มันก็เลยดูเหมือนว่าเป็นการปิดฉากข่าวลือ ?
"ไม่มีค่ะ เราปกติทุกอย่าง เพราะเพื่อนแพนก็เป็นเพื่อนขวัญ เพื่อนขวัญก็เป็นเพื่อนแพน ส่วนเรื่องการพูดคุยอันนี้แพนต้องยอมรับว่าเราอาจจะไม่ได้คุยกันแบบตรง ๆ สักเท่าไหร่ ถ้าหากจะมีโอกาสได้คุยก็จะเป็นช่วงที่ได้เจอกันตามงานมากกว่า นอกเหนือจากนั้นแพนก็อาจจะมีเข้าไปคอมเม้นท์ในอินสตาแกรมตามภาพเขาบ้างปกติ"

ในอนาคตคิดว่าจะมีโอกาสได้ลงละครเรื่องเดียวกันอีกไหม ?
"อันนี้คงต้องเป็นเรื่องของผู้ใหญ่ทางช่องเลยค่ะ แต่ ณ ตอนนี้ยังไม่มีอะไรเลยจริง ๆ"

สรุปก็ยืนยันนะว่าเรากับขวัญไม่ได้มีปัญหาอะไรกันแน่นอน ?
